Is there a cost for just the
classes and not staying at the hotel? |
Please think of this as a retreat or a
getaway! The package consists of hotel, food, classes, kit fees and all
other functions that we put together. Even those that are local will pay
the same cost. The fantastic conference rooms and accommodations we will
have are based on the rooms, food and other items negotiated with the
hotel. We will be doing things during the day and in the evenings and it
would be a shame for some to miss things because they went home. You
certainly don't have to stay there, but the cost will be the same.
Even if you live close by,
we hope you will
still join us. We chose Tulsa because of it's central location so that
everyone could travel to us without a 3 day drive, but of course someone is
going to be within a few miles of the location. By it being a "Retreat" you
can pretend to be hundreds of miles away and just enjoy the Fun Days...and
Nights. |

How long do we have before we have to sign
up? |
There are only so many
spots. Once they are full, we won't be able to take any more students.
We want you all to have enough room and for the instructors to not be spread
too thin, we have to have a limit. This is a first pay basis and spots
will not be held without at least a deposit. |

When you say pack your machines, do we need sew/embroidery or just sewing? |
You will definitely need
your embroidery arm and we will send you any designs you will use ahead of
time by e-mail so that they can be properly formatted and loaded on your
machines. |

Can our spouse eat with us? |
If you want your spouse
included in the meals, please e-mail me for pricing. They will not be
able to have breakfast or lunch with us if arrangements have not been made
in advance but dinner is in the Hot Potato Buffet and they will simply pay
for their own when going through the line. |

We will be driving from Tennessee and it is approximately 10 to 12 hours, if
we get there in one day, can we get a couple of rooms a day ahead |
As for the day ahead...not a problem
at all...but I want you to know that it doesn't start until Monday morning
and all you will be doing on Sunday night is setting up your machine and
meeting everyone. So if you got to Tulsa on Sunday afternoon, you would
be fine. I am only suggesting that to make it easier on you, maybe you
could drive part way on Saturday and drive in to Tulsa on Sunday...if you
come in Saturday night, you will just be hanging around until Sunday
night...maybe that is what you wanted to do...there is plenty of
entertainment...but just another option. I will let you know the price of
Saturday night
if you need it.. |

A friend and I want to attend this
function. Do you have to pay in full now? I would rather give a deposit and
send the remainder at a later date closer to August. Or make periodical
payments along the way. |
I have been asked this question
many times now and so I am certainly willing to accept payments if it makes
it easier on you. If you are using a credit card, this isn't possible,
but for Check payments...Payments will be due as follows: |

What are the rules about needing to cancel
(due to a good excuse of course). |
We certainly hope this doesn't
have to happen...but if it does, we can only offer partial discounts based
on the length of time left before the event starts. We are forced to
pay commitments to the hotel and create all of the kits for a certain
number...therefore we are locked at certain dates. If you can find
someone to take your place, that would be best...but if that is not possible
and if you cancel after the following: |
